Old 1934 yearbook from Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Virginia). This yearbook is in poor condition due to page separation from the spine. However, the neat thing about it is that they appear to be loose because the yearbook owner obtained a significant number of signatures within the yearbook. The owner appears to have been Robert Jeter. Examples of signatures within the book include Colonel Aubrey Heyden Camden (President of the School), Lieut. Colonel Edward Allen Floyd, Major W.O. Tune, Captain C.P. Brooks, Dr. E.S. Lester, Captain H.T. Mitchell, Captain T.H. Sanford, Mrs. Mabel Minton, Miss Mabel Moses, Harry Wise Cunningham, Marshall Vance Lawrence Jr., jack W. Lipstreu, Ernest Little, Carl Maluf, James Drury Martin Jr., John Sargent Martin, Paul Richard Payne Jr., Fo.O. Perez, Thomas Lombard Philbrick, David Richardson, Philip Rosenbaum, Herman L. Smith, P.H. Tomlinson, Preston Elijah Trower III, and William Tupper Wingfield. Other signatures include lower classmen by their respective group photos. Book also has several photos of the students (with home towns), photos on campus, outlines expected behaviors (around student council, afternoon school, smoking, hazing and a hazing pledge), lists 1934 graduates and has the Rifle Team, Football Squad, Baseball Team, Track Team, Varsity Club, Basketball Team and Minisertial Club photos.
