Paper notice of the First Annual Ball of the Washington Continental Guard at Congress Hall on Thursday evening February 22, 1855 (looks like 1835, but confirmed Thursday was in 1855). The listed Committee includes – Capt. J.M. Johnson, 1st Lieut. W.L. Childs, 2d Lieut. J.P. Henion, 3d Lieut. G.H. Ramsey, Ralph Thomas, Thomas Bailey, James J. King, William Rutan, Albert Berdau and B. Beardsley. Item is creased on some paper on back missing since may have been in a scrapbook. Size is 4-3/4 inch wide by 3 inch high.
